Ive been ringing Crook Hall asking about which Sundays they have free, as Sunday seems the best date for everyone and they dont have any free coming up. Looks like we're not supposed to go there, oh well. Sorry guys that this didn't work out. I just wanted to update everyone on what was happening with this meet. If you have any ideas about meets dont hesitate to share them ^^ We will deffo have another one soon.

Ive been searching for something nice for us to do that wont suffer if the weather turns bad. I found a place in Durham Called Crook Hall, it looks gorgeous! I emailed asking in they had a small function room for a small group or anything suitable for us. This is the message I got back ^^
"We have a meeting room with beautiful views across the gardens to the cathedral. It is available between 9am and 5pm Sunday to Thursday. Members of your group would also be welcome to explore the Hall and Gardens. The cost is just £10 per person and this includes tea or coffee on arrival."
What do you think, it seems fair. Problem is Im abit busy with trips to York and a short holiday.
What do you think of these dates then Sunday 6th of Sep, Monday 7th of Sep, Monday 14th Sep and all the days following til the thursday?
If you really dont like the price or and idea say too, we dont have to do this its just an idea.

Im off to Disneyland Paris in two weeks and I'm gunna go into Paris for a day and visit the Baby store. I wonder if any of my local lolita's want me to pick anything up for them, no fee or anything. Ive got an idea of some things I want and I hope they are there when I go :S
Gives us more of an incentive to have a meet up so if anyone wants anything they can give me the money and tell me what they want. Its good for smalls things, things you'd recent paying postage for.

I know I haven't posted any recent projects here for a long time but here it goes. I went to my first Lolita meet up and it was awesome lots of laughs and some great girls! I had an idea of what I wanted to wear, my new skirt but I didnt have a bag to go with it, Ive been lacking a plain white or brown bag for a while. I searched everywhere but nope, yesterday I find the perfect bag in New Look, mint too late. Anyways here is the bag.






I decided to add some venice lace to make the bag more interesting. I had to be careful that the stitching didnt show through the lining inside and the stitching on the outside I put on the already existing stitching to hide it. Time consuming but worth it. lol

I mum bought me a black rose hair elastic. I never wore it because you end up damaging the rose when your put the elastic band around your hair. So I forgot about it. I wanted to make a purple rose hair corsage with lace around the outside but I couldn't find any pruple roses :(
then I remembered the black rose one. I sewed the circle or lace onto it and attached a hair comb and here it is ^^

Every year I get new hello kitty stationary for college or school. Ive notice it comes with these little keyring type tags. I decided to start removing these and make some cute jewelery ^^

This time I wanted to make a pink skirt. So using the bottom 1/2 of a Angelic Pretty dress pattern in GBL extra 2 and some pink polka dot fabric I did ^^
I've also received things I ordered ages ago all at once so I put a photo of everything.

Coquettish Tiara bag - I think Im having a polka dot thing atm lol
pink skirt - The fabric is from a ebay shop called Innov21.
pink bow - I have a thing about large single bows.
r-series shrug - I ordered this from miwitch, very good service. I love classic style but Im too big for it, so this was perfect for me.

Hello! new item!

I once again I used a pattern from the GLB.

This was from the extra 2 bible. The pattern was for a off white shrug of no particular brand.

I changed the sleeves from the original because they were too short and with mutton style at the top.

The fabric was a brilliant find! Super soft wool perfect for a shrug.

Im very happy with this item ^^

here's a Bag made using a chocochip cookie pattern ^^ Its fully lined and has a oval bottom to the bag. This was tricky to make.
I ordered the fabric from japan from a ebay shop called nuno plus.
I love this fabric! MAM uses it in some of their designs too!

I love strawberries so I bought this fabric, it was abit thin so i had to double it up with cotton

I used a metamorphose skirt pattern from the Gothic Lolita Bible extra 1, but I elasticated the waist band.

Spring is coming up and I'm in the mood for lots of new clothes ^^
Thinking about sewing and buying some lolita clothes for when the warm weather sets in.
Ive been altering and design new pieces of jewelery too, I will get pictures up soon ^^

I started this so I could talk to other people with similar interests around the world. ^^ Mostly the egl community.
